Sultry Havana Nights At Havana Central

  • From the moment I walked in the door and was greeted by the lovely hostess with a beautiful flower in her hair, I felt the ambiance of a sultry Havana night. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and gave great suggestions on appetizers like Lobster-Stuffed Avocado ($9.00), Plantain Chips with Avocado Salsa and Mojo ($9.00) and Melted Latin Cheese Dish ($9.00). Havana Central also boasts a full drink menu with signature drinks such as Birds of Paradise ($12.00) and Caipirinha ($9.00). I enjoyed a terrific performance by their live band while dining on Oxtail Stew ($16.00), Shrimp with Rice ($16.00) and Mango Glazed Salmon ($18.00). Havana Central is New York City’s premier destination for classic Cuban food. Established in 2002, this restaurant is a celebration of Cuban culture.
