Meeka Claxton captured the attention of Basketball Wives: Miami viewers last season because of her inability to get it right with the ladies in the “circle.” The drama between her and the show’s other cast members was so intense, that ever since the reunion show aired, rumors have circulated about her fate as a television basketball wife. Recently, the Queens native sat down with Cherry to clear up some of the rumors and explain why it’s in her nature to floss. Check out some of the highlights:
ON WHETHER OR NOT SHE WILL RETURN FOR THE NEXT SEASON OF THE SHOW:
“I’ve heard the same thing. I see it all over the blogs and everything like that, but I’m hearing it from not a credible source, if you know what I’m saying. Shaunie [O'Neal] does not make any decisions one minute, but yet, the next minute she’s running around saying that things are certain, things are definite. So which one is it? Either you are the shot-caller, or you’re not. So we didn’t hear from anybody credible about that.”
ON WHETHER OR NOT SHE’S GOING THROUGH WITH THE LAWSUIT AGAINST TAMI ROMAN:
“Yeah I am, I truly am. I’m a grown woman, don’t touch me. Mush, shove, whatever, just don’t touch me. I have kids, I don’t do that. I mean the last time I fought was high school, come on now. I wouldn’t even think that that was even going to go down – this is Basketball Wives not Bad Girls Club.”
