Demi Moore And Ashton Kutcher Call It Quits!

Amidst all of the tabloid rumors of infidelity, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have called it quits after 6 years of marriage. Divorce seemed to be imminent after weeks of media speculation that there was trouble in paradise. In a statement released yesterday, Demi announced her painful decision to end her marriage to the Two and a Half Men star.

In a statement to ABC News, Demi said:

“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”

Kutcher immediately responded to his wife’s statement via Twitter, saying, “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK.”

Sources close to Demi claim the final straw was when 22-year-old Sara Leal came forward with allegations of an affair with Kutcher on the day of the couple’s six-year wedding anniversary.

Its unfortunate, but can’t say we didn’t see this one coming.
