The official release event is set to take place on December 22 at Bar Basque in NYC at 8pm, designed by Syd Mead and drawing upon the robust red and black color palate of the Basque region, Bar Basque is nestled on the second floor of the highly anticipated Eventi Hotel and offers a futuristic oasis for lounging and dining.

Catwalks and The Cool World is an audio compilation that depicts the relationship between music and fashion. Fashion, being a visual art, makes use of style and creativity to set popular trends in today’s modern culture, while music is the soundtrack to everyday emotion, imagination, and innovation.The purpose of this compilation is to shed light on the musical genres most used in the art of runway modeling and fashion shows. Undoubtedly, Catwalks and The Cool World is the first of its kind because never before has the world been able to successfully combine the two in a medium that is both universal and trendsetting.

The concept is the brain child of Mario “Disco XP” Daniels, an artist who has made a career of being both music producer and fashion aficionado. With the belief that every art form has a place, he has found a bridge for designers and artist to come together collaboratively to share their artistry in a way that can be both lucrative and career changing. With the help of his thirteen sponsors, Mario has been able to realize his dream of “The Cool World”, an artistic collective that fuses art, literature, music, fashion, and the theatrical genres, giving way to creative freedom, understanding and acceptance.

This compilation is his doorway that all creatives are more than welcome to walk through. “Creating art to innovate life” is his mantra, and “The Cool World is the place where dreams can be realized.”
