Victoria’s Secret Linked To Child Labor

  • The kingpin of lingerie is accused of using child labor. Last week, Victoria’s Secret was revealed by a Bloomberg report derived from an intensive weeks long investigation in West Africa. The undergarment retailer is accused of using child labor to produce its fair-trade underwear. “Immediately upon learning of this allegation, we began working with key stakeholders internally and externally to fully investigate this matter,” Limited Brands (Victoria Secret’s parent company) said. “Depending on the findings, we are prepared to take swift action to prevent the illegal use of child labor.”

    Well we hope so…we here at CherryOnTop love us some Vicky’s Secret, but we won’t hesitate to stop buying it if necessary.
