CherryOnTop On The Scene: Sachika’s Fall/Winter 2012 Collection Runway Show

  • CherryOnTop was on the scene for the unveiling of To-Tam and To-Nya Sachika’s (the Sachika Twins) Fall/Winter 2012 collection at Style360 New York Fashion Week at Metropolitan Pavilion on Valentine’s Day! This season’s runway show showcased a collection themed: “IVANKA: If We Ever Meet Again”.

    Inspired by the fictional muse, “IVANKA”, created by the Sachika Twins, the collection reflected the style of a mysterious sultry secret agent who is on a mission. This season, the ladies are using a combination of wool crepe, leather, faux fur, silk chiffon and charmeuse, delicate lace, suede, among other luxurious fabrics, to create their signature cocktail dresses, jackets, and separates. The audience was transported into an action thriller where each runway model portrayed “IVANKA” at different moments. The show featured celebrity model, Eva Marcille.
