The 54th Annual Grammy Awards Red Carpet Fashion Revisited

Last night, the stars of the music world took over the red carpet at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards. Rihanna looked very elegant in a black gown with a low plunging neckline that she helped design with Giorgio Armani. Her look was inspired by the character played by Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface. Nicki Minaj had a huge high-fashion meets costume moment in a Versace red hood embellished with the labels signature Medusa head. She was escorted by a man dressed as a bishop. Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie turned up the heat in a lace see-through number over black panties and bra. Host LL Cool J represented the hip-hop community well in a velvet tuxedo and newsboy cap.

Jessie J channeled the disco era in a mirror appliqué gown by Julien Macdonald. Amber Rose in Versace and Wiz Khalifa in Dolce & Gabbana took the award for best dressed couple. Lifetime Achievement Award winner Diana Ross showed us how the legends do it in a classy pantsuit with sparkly cuffs. The ultra glamourous Adele, who took home six Grammys, dazzled in a sequined Armani gown with three-quarter sleeves and Harry Winston jewelry. Alicia Keys and Swizz Beats looked very sophisticated – she wore a Alexandre Vauthier Couture fitted dress while Swizz pushed the envelop in a purple velvet blazer and matching bow tie. Taraji P. Henson looked stunning in a pink and leopard print halter gown by Basler. Paris Hilton looked very chic in a white and gold Basil Soda gown.
