Deion, Pilar Sanders Divorce: Witness For Pilar Accuses Deion Of Scheming To Conceal Money In Preparation For Divorce

DSPS

We’ve been following the ongoing bitter divorce between Deion and Pilar Sanders from the beginning. Ever since news emerged in late 2011 that the once happy couple had split, a lot has happened, including accusations of abuse and infidelity being levied by both sides. Just last week, Deion was awarded full custody of the couple’s two sons, and joint custody of their daughter. The decision was a crushing blow for Pilar, but the model/actress is gunning for a better outcome when the court makes a decision in their battle over finances.

Enter Texas native Nikke Sanni. Nikke claims to have been in a relationship with gospel star Fred Hammond for 2-years, and is preparing to testify about a meeting she says took place in early 2011, during which Deion allegedly sought advice on what to do with his money to create the illusion that he’s not as well off as many believe. Her story is pretty shocking (particularly who’s involved), and we have our own opinions about her accusations, but read on so you can formulate your own.

Did you have a relationship with either Deion or Pilar Sanders prior to you coming forward?

NS: No.

You allege that you were dating Fred Hammond at the time of the incident you are about to speak of, correct?

NS: Absolutely.

How long had the two of you been dating?

NS: We were dating for approximately a year before this meeting, and we dated for another year after it happened, so it was a total of two years.

Now get into your story. Talk about the first time you allegedly met Deion Sanders.

NS: We were at Fred’s house. It was Fred, T.D. Jakes, Deion Sanders, and another man of whom I have no idea who he is. He came in with Deion, he left with Deion, I don’t know who he is. And that was my first time ever seeing Deion.

What was the subject of conversation?

NS: That he [Deion] was getting ready to file for a divorce, and there was something wrong with the prenuptial agreement, and he did not want her [Pilar] to take his money. He was like worried. It was one of those meetings where somebody is like, “Man you know, something is wrong with this prenup, and I need some help because I don’t want her to take everything.” And T.D. Jakes was there helping him, giving him advice, kind of guiding him rather, on what to do with his money so that it wouldn’t look like he had so much when the divorce happens. It was only T.D. Jakes and Deion talking. Fred wasn’t really saying anything, and the other guy wasn’t really saying anything. It was just a Deion and T.D. Jakes type situation.

Were they the least bit uncomfortable with you being in the room considering what they were discussing? It seems a little odd that Deion would be comfortable with talking about that with someone in the room he did not know.

NS: I wasn’t sitting directly in the room. I was eavesdropping in the room. I wasn’t like sitting on the couch with them…they were all sitting in the sitting area. I was eavesdropping on the meeting. I came down for a second to get a good look, and went back up, but I was not invited, nor was I sitting in the sitting room with them at the time, no.

T.D. Jakes being as big as he is, and Deion. Are you prepared to deal with the repercussions of coming forward and testifying?

NS: Am I prepared? I guess I’ll have to get prepared. Am I afraid? Absolutely, absolutely afraid. But I figure yes T.D. Jakes is huge, yes Deion Sanders is huge, but they’re not bigger than God. And I know I’m telling the truth, and with that, I’m okay. But I’m not going to lie and say I’m not scared. I am. I’m absolutely. I don’t have no idea what they’re going to come back with or how they’re going to do it, but they know it’s true.

Have Pilar’s lawyers been preparing you to testify? Have you been meeting with her lawyers?

NS: I’ve met with her lawyers, I am preparing to testify in the divorce phase of the trial. I did not testify in the custody battle because this has nothing to do with custody. I don’t know anything about Deion’s parental skills…let me just say this on record, okay. I don’t know Mr. Sanders as a person, as a human being. I have nothing to gain and everything to lose for telling my story because I am going against T.D. Jakes. But, I’m doing what’s right, and what I’m doing, like I said, has nothing to do with custody of their children, so that’s why I didn’t testify at the [custody phase of the case], but I will be there at the divorce trial.

It would be easier, considering what you’re up against, to not say anything about what you heard that day. It won’t affect you if things don’t go Pilar’s way in their divorce. Why say anything knowing your credibility is going to be questioned and possibly worse?

NS: I’ll be honest with you. The reason why, if you want to know the deep-rooted reason why I’m doing it…when I got back home after they had that meeting, I was in a close relationship with my mother, and I went straight to my mom. Now let me be honest with you, when I went to my mother, I wasn’t discussing Deion, T.D. Jakes, and that big ol’ guy that was there. I went to my mother, and I was like, “Mom, you’re not going to believe what kind of meeting Fred sat in on.” It was more of let me tell my mom what my guy is doing. And my mother said to me, “You need to reach out and let that woman know what’s going on.” And, initially I was like, “You’re crazy. I’m not doing that,” because I’m was still with Fred. I was very much in love with Fred, very much so. And I didn’t want to jeopardize my relationship with my man for somebody I didn’t know who she is or where she comes from. But talking to my mother, she was the one that said, “You’re a woman just like she’s a woman. And if this was you and Fred, and another woman sat in and heard he was going to do that to you, wouldn’t you want to know?” And it stayed on my conscience, it ate me up all day, all night. Until I decided I’ve got to do the right thing. It was my mother, she deserves the credit.

Do you remember the exact month and year that the meeting you just spoke of allegedly took place?

NS: Absolutely, because I was there for my birthday. It was February of 2011. My birthday is February 8. So it was the beginning of February that the meeting took place.

Okay, and you said you and Fred continued dating for a year after that?

NS: We didn’t break up until the summer time of 2012.

So you don’t remember specifics on what Bishop T.D. Jakes was telling Deion to do?

NS: I don’t remember the specifics. I just know he was telling him, “This is what you do. You put your money here…” Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. But, no, I do not remember exactly. I wish I did because I’d be more than happy to help her, but I don’t know, and I can’t make it up.

What you’re alleging is pretty major.

NS: And this is the thing that scares me, and I want this to be very known. I’m not going to sit up here and tell you I’m Ms. big bad muscle woman…I can face it I’m strong. I’m afraid. We’re talking about world respected, mega-church leader Bishop T.D. Jakes against little ol’ Houston Nikke. I’m not a bishop, I’m not a pastor, I’m not a world known gospel artist, I’m just Nikke, and I’m just Nikke that’s doing what’s right. No matter what your title is, no matter what church you lead, you’re still a person just like me, you happen to have a title. And they know what I heard. That’s why they all looked at me crazy when they saw me like, “What are you doing here?” But I feel like I’m doing what’s right. Absolutely I’m scared. I’m not afraid, I’m scared. But, oh well. I mean, I have to do what I have to do, and this is what it is. I’m sure Fred is going to curse me out real good and go off because he does curse and he does go off, but I’m ready.

Gabrielle Union Takes To Twitter To Respond To Dwyane Wade’s Ex’s Interview With Dr. Phil?

SW

It looks like Gabrielle Union is fed up with Dwyane Wade’s ex-wife Siohvaughn “sharing her side” of her bitter divorce from the NBA star. Not long after promos for Siohvaughn’s recent interview with Dr. Phil began making the rounds, the
Think Like a Man star tweeted, “Stop blamin every1 & everything if ur life isn’t where u want it to be. Admit ur mistakes & shortcomings & commit to change.”

Gabrielle later tried to clean up what she said by tweeting, “That awkward moment when you think someone is subtweeting about you…But they’re not #GuiltyConscience #MyBadOrNot”

Siohvaughn is the mother of Dwyane’s children, and she hasn’t been shy about putting some of the blame for her split with the 31-year-old Miami Heat point guard on Gabrielle. Check out highlights from her interview with Dr. Phil below.

ON LOSING THE CUSTODY BATTLE:

“Well a lot of it had to do with Mr. Wade’s celebrity and a lot of it had to do with his money. But I’ve seen the court system in a way that I’ve never seen it before. I went into that place hoping to get help for my children and I, but I found judges in the courtroom quoting statistics for Mr. Wade. They would speak about him as if they were introducing the starting lineup for a basketball game. “

“One time we were doing scheduling and we were asking when would Mr. Wade come in and testify. And she was saying, ‘Oh, I know when he’ll be in Chicago. They play the Bulls and right now they’re in Philadelphia.’ She knew all of these things and she’d say all of the time, ‘I’m a huge basketball fan.’ I was sort of hoping she’d be a fan of justice, but I found otherwise.”

ON HAVING A “VOLATILE” REPUTATION:

“Well, my ex-husband had a publicist. And as far as the records reveal, it [Wade’s publicist’s retainer fee] may have been approximately $20,000 per month. When you’re able to pay someone that amount of money a month to plant your stories…”

Custody War Erupts Over Jovan Belcher’s Infant Daughter

JB

The tragic murder/suicide involving NFL player Jovan Belcher and his girlfriend, Kasandra Perkins, has gotten even sadder. Reportedly, little Zoey Belcher, the late Kansas City Chiefs linebacker’s 4-month-old daughter with Perkins, is at the center of a custody battle between her grandparents.

In the days following the tragedy, Zoey was in the care of Jovan’s mother, Cheryl Shepherd, who was present when her son shot and killed Perkins at their Kansas City home before taking his own life at the team facility at Arrowhead Stadium, but she hasn’t seen the baby since sending her to visit with Perkins’ family in Texas. According to the NY Daily News:

“The Kansas City police awarded temporary custody to Shepherd in the immediate aftermath of the bloodshed. But Shepherd claims she then sent little Zoey to the maternal family in Texas for a short stay to attend her slain 22-year-old mother’s funeral — and hasn’t seen or heard from them since.

‘The maternal relatives have now ceased communicating with Cheryl Shepherd and have refused to return her calls or return the child to her care,’ Shepherd’s lawyer, Gretchen Gold, wrote a Missouri probate commissioner last Thursday in court filings obtained by the Daily News.

Gold claimed maternal grandmother Rebecca Gonzalez was well aware Shepherd was preparing to file a petition for guardianship of Zoey out of Kansas City. So Gonzalez, who lives in Fort Worth, beat her to the punch and filed one day earlier in Texas.

In the Dec. 13 filing, Gonzalez’s attorney noted that Belcher ‘murdered the child subject’s mother . . . in the presence of the child.’

Feelings toward Belcher’s side of the family are no warmer at the maternal grandfather’s home in Austin, Tex.

‘My granddaughter wasn’t a murderer; he was the murderer,’ a woman, who declined to give her name, told The News.
Asked about the fight over Zoey, she said, ‘All of it sounds like lies.’

‘You should call people in New York,’ the Austin woman bitterly added, referring to Shepherd’s kin, who live in Long Island. ‘I’m sure they’ll have a lot to say.’

A probate commissioner has scheduled a Jan. 11 court date in Independence, Mo., to hear Shepherd’s petition seeking full custody of Zoey, and a second petition seeking appointment as administrator of her son’s multimillion-dollar estate.

Meanwhile, a Fort Worth judge has scheduled a Jan. 22 hearing on the custody petition filed by Zoey’s maternal grandparents.”

This is unbelievably sad. As we previously reported, Zoey will be provided for by the NFL Surviving Child Benefit and health care plan, which means she’ll receive $9,000 a month for the next four years, and at least $4,000 a month until she turns 18, or 23 if she decides to go to college. In addition, Jovan’s beneficiaries will receive life insurance payments of $1.2 million.

Usher Asks Court To Deny Tameka Foster’s Request For New Trial In Custody Case

If Usher has his way, his estranged wife Tameka Foster’s attempt to get a new trial in the custody battle for their two sons will be shut down. The R&B superstar was awarded primary custody of 4-year-old Usher Raymond V and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, but Tameka has requested a new trial on the grounds that the judge was biased in the case because of campaign money she received from Usher’s lawyer. In a response filed last week, Usher’s legal team argued Tameka’s motion for a new trial is “an assault on the integrity of the court,” and has asked the court to deny the request. According to TMZ:

“Usher believes Tameka is delusional, claiming if she were granted a new trial, it would be grounds for a reversal of ALL trials where a lawyer had contributed to a judge’s campaign.

Usher claims the motion ‘constitutes a continuum of [Tameka’s] vile and unsupported claims that every person who dared testify against her … is biased and tainted.'”

The back-and-forth between these two is just ridiculous! As parents, they should have done the grown up thing a long time ago by deciding what’s best for their sons without involving the courts. One day, little Usher and Naviyd are going to read about this madness.

Tameka Foster Planning To Appeal Custody Decision

As we previously told you, Usher Raymond was awarded primary custody yesterday of his two sons with estranged wife, Tameka Foster. Not surprisingly, Tameka is incensed that the judge sided with the R&B superstar, and is planning to appeal the decision. But apparently, she has a damn good reason why the court should reevaluate the judge’s position. According to TMZ:

“We’re told Tameka recently found out that Usher’s lawyer’s law firm threw an election fundraiser back in 2008 for the judge who presided over the trial … and she feels that connection may have influenced the ruling.

According to the campaign contribution report for Judge Lane, the law firm that represented Usher raised $1,278 for Lane in March 2008.”

We’re not big fans of Tameka by far, but if this is true, she so deserves another day in court. Reportedly, Tameka wants to appeal the decision as soon as possible, and is currently interviewing attorneys to make that happen.

Usher Wins Primary Custody Of Two Sons

The custody battle between Usher Raymond and Tameka Foster has finally come to an end. Reportedly, after a long, ugly fight, the R&B superstar was awarded primary custody yesterday of their two sons, 4-year-old Usher Raymond V and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. The judge ruled in Usher’s favor despite Tameka’s accusations that he’s a drug user who’s more focused on his career than spending time with their boys. According to TMZ:

“…we’re told a judge sided with the singer — awarding Usher primary custody of the ex-couple’s two sons, which means the children will be spending the majority of the time with their father.

Tameka still retains some custodial rights — but the extent to which Tameka will be able to see her kids is unclear.”

The decision comes almost a month to the day that Tameka’s son Kile Glover, who tragically died after a jet ski accident, was laid to rest. No matter what you think about Tameka, you can’t help but feel a little sympathetic for her now that she has to hand over her two youngest sons to their father.

Usher Held In Contempt Of Court For Closing Tameka Foster’s Saks Fifth Avenue Credit Card Account

Tameka Foster has claimed a few victories in her ongoing custody battle with Usher Raymond. The celebrity stylist was irate when Usher canceled her Saks Fifth Avenue card last year, but a judge has ordered the R&B superstar to reopen the account in his name. According to TMZ:

“The closed Saks card was just one of Tameka Raymond’s many grievances in her ongoing custody fight against Usher — and now, the court has taken her side … holding the singer in contempt for pulling the plug on her fancy charge account.

Tameka claims she needs the account to do her job as a stylist.”

Tameka also convinced the court that Usher owed her money for the nanny bill, and was awarded $1,300. A decision about custody and support of the former couple’s two sons, 4-year-old Usher Raymond V and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond, has yet to be made. Tameka and Usher have been engaged in a highly contentious battle over the boys for months now. Hopefully, the drama will come to an end soon by way of a decision from the court.

Tameka Foster: Usher Sympathy Over Kile Is Bogus

It’s only been a week since Kile Glover was laid to rest, but he’s already being dragged into his mother Tameka Foster’s custody battle with his former stepdad, Usher Raymond. Reportedly, Tameka is alleging that the R&B superstar’s sympathy over the death of the 11-year-old is bogus, and is requesting the judge handling their custody fight deny his request to delay the next hearing. According to
TMZ:

“In his request, Usher claims he’s worried the hearing would cause ‘unnecessary stress and strain’ for both himself, Tameka and their two minor children ‘in the immediate wake of this tragedy.’

Usher also claims Tameka would get an unfair advantage in the hearing because the court would not want to rule against a woman who is still grieving the death of her son. Usher fears he could lose custody of the children and believes it would be unfair to him.

But in docs of her own … Tameka’s lawyer claims Usher is full of crap … insisting U’s claims of suffering “stress and strain” are ‘BOGUS.’

In fact, she claims Usher didn’t care about her son at all in his final days — even though Usher regarded him as a son back when they were married.

‘[Usher] visited Kile in the hospital only once’ during his 15 days on life support … Tameka claims.

She also claims she had begged Usher to tweet a message about her son, ‘Please pray for Kile’ … but he refused. Instead, Tameka claims, Usher’s next tweet was a photo of his own breakfast with the caption, ‘Breakfast of Champions.’

In her docs, Tameka claims Usher’s attempt to postpone the hearing is ‘simply a transparent sham’ … and asks the judge to DENY Usher’s request and require him to appear at the next scheduled hearing, set for August 13.

She also claims resolving the custody battle is the only way for her to heal and move forward with her life.'”

This is just so sad…

Does Usher’s Ex-Wife Plan On Using Stalker Against Him In Custody Battle?

Outside of Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry, the ugliest celebrity custody battle going on right now is that of Usher and his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. Ever since the R&B superstar filed for divorce 3 years ago, the duo has not seen eye to eye when it comes to the upbringing of their 2 sons, 4-year-old Usher Raymond V and 3-year-old Naviyd Ely Raymond. The accusations that the twosome have levied against each other in their ongoing custody battle include claims that she is unstable, and allegations that he has a drug problem (last November, Tameka’s legal team submitted court papers that demanded Usher take a drug test, which he flatly refused to do). Now that news the “Climax” singer is being stalked by 26-year-old Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw has made headlines, Tameka reportedly plans on using the incident to bolster her argument that Usher’s home is in an “unsafe environment”. According to TMZ:

“Our sources say the kids were with Usher during one of the alleged incidents when Jones-Rakestraw showed up at his home.

According to our sources, Tameka is scared for her kids’ safety since Jones-Rakestraw was able to get all the way to Usher’s home … even though he lives in a gated community and has a security team.

When the trial resumes in August, we’re told Tameka hopes this latest incident sways the court her way.”

It’s a shame that Tameka is allowed to use something Usher cannot help against him. Besides, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that stalkers come with the territory of being a celebrity. No one heard her complaining when she was cashing those checks as Mrs. Usher Raymond. I’m just saying.

Halle Berry Ordered To Pay Ex $20,000 A Month In Child Support

Reportedly, Halle Berry has been ordered to pay her ex Gabriel Aubry, with whom she shares a 4-year-old daughter, $20,000 a month in child support!! According to TMZ:

“Lawyers for Halle and Gabriel were in court Monday, and sources connected with Gabriel tell TMZ … the family law judge ordered Halle to pay Nahla’s daddy $20,000 a month.

Although Nahla is 4, until Monday there was never a child support order issued by a judge, but now one is in place.

We’re told both sides are still at war, and they will soon be battling in court over whether Halle can take Nahla and move to Paris.”

She maybe considered one of the most beautiful women in the world and has an Academy Award, but still, it sucks being Halle Berry right about now!!!

Usher Accuses Tameka Foster Of Attacking And Spitting On His Girlfriend

Usher’s ongoing custody battle with ex-wife Tameka Foster reached an all time low yesterday. The R&B superstar took the stand and testified that Tameka flew into a jealous rage when he stopped by her house with his girlfriend, Grace Miguel. According to TMZ:

“Usher took the stand in his ongoing child custody trial with his ex, and under questioning by his attorney, revealed how Tameka once went ballistic and “wanted to fight” … when he showed up at her house with his new sidepiece.

Ush testified Tameka walked to his car and said, ‘I’m gonna kick your ass. Bitch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?’

He added, ‘She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her.’

Usher claims he had to get out of the car and block Tameka … who then hit him. Usher said he pleaded with Tameka to calm down, but claims “she threw a plate of food at the car” … as he fled the situation.

You gotta hear Usher describe the intense showdown — and remember, Tameka previously testified she once told the gf, ‘I will f**k you up.'”

These two need to stop!!! They have 2 sons they need to think about, and that alone should be enough motivation for them to settle this amicably without all of their dirty laundry being put on front street for everyone to see!!

Royce Reed Accuses Judge Of Bias In Custody Fight With Dwight Howard

Basketball Wives star Royce Reed is accusing the judge in her custody fight against NBA star Dwight Howard of being biased against women who have children out of wedlock with NBA stars and has requested he be removed from the case. According to TMZ:

“Royce Reed is battling Dwight in court in an effort to retain primary custody of their son. Dwight filed docs earlier this month to try and wrangle custody from her … claiming she interferes with his relationship with their son and makes it difficult for him to see the boy on his scheduled days.

The Basketball Wives star came back this week with a motion of her own … to have Judge Tim Shea taken off the case. She claims he has a bias against baby mamas and she fears he may side with Dwight because he’s a local celebrity.

In her filing, Reed claims Shea wouldn’t let her present her side during a court hearing last month. Reed’s lawyer also filed an affidavit saying that during the hearing, Judge Shea said he would award Howard custody, then decided to delay his decision … despite the fact no evidence had been presented.

Reed also claims there might be a conflict of interest since Shea’s own website lists one of Howard’s lawyers, Mayanne Downs, as one of his endorsers.

Reed pleads in the docs, ‘I am afraid if Judge Shea continues to preside over this case, I will lose custody of my son.’

A hearing on the matter has been set for later this month.”

If the judge has any bias at all, we think it has nothing to do with Royce having a kid out of wedlock with a NBA star and everything to do with the foolishness (although we love the foolishness, but hey, we’re not the judge) that goes down on Basketball Wives.

Usher To Ex-Wife: I’m Not Footing Your Legal Bills!

Reportedly, Usher and Tameka Foster’s battle over custody over their 2 sons rages on. In the latest chapter of the ongoing saga, the R&B superstar is fighting a motion filed by Tameka that would require him to pay her $50,000 to cover her mounting legal costs. According to TMZ:

“As TMZ first reported, Tameka wants Usher to write a check for $50,000 to cover her costs as the two trade legal shots in their fight for custody of their two children.

Usher finds that request absurd… saying in court docs filed earlier this month that Tameka has consistently defied court orders and filed frivolous motions, like the one trying to force him to take a drug test.

Usher claims he’s already forked over 25k for her attorneys and has shouldered the brunt of the financial associated with this case, especially when it comes to their kids.

Bottom line … Usher feels Tameka’s actions ‘directly harm the best interests of the minor children. Clearly, such actions should not be tolerated, much less rewarded.'”

We can’t believe this mess is still going on…we hope they are able to get it together in the near future for the sake of their sons.

Chris Bosh: Still Fighting To See His Daughter

Chris Bosh will face off in court with his ex-girlfriend on Monday in the ongoing fight to see his daughter. According to TMZ:

“Chris Bosh says his baby mama is doing everything she can to destroy his relationship with his daughter — and the latest evidence is that she only wanted to let Chris see the child a grand total of 22 hours in February.

Bosh — who is slated to play in the All-Star Game Sunday in Orlando — will be in an Orlando family court first thing Monday morning, asking a judge to either force Allison Mathis to give him “meaningful time” with his 3-year-old daughter or hold Mathis in contempt for denying him that.

According to the docs, Mathis is supposed to hand the child over to Chris 12 days a month, but it hasn’t happened … not even close.”

Let that man see his daughter!!!
