Instagram Threatens To Shut Down Madonna’s Account

Madonna

Madonna is stirring up a little trouble among the Instagram community. Earlier this month, the pop icon became active on the online photo-sharing and social networking site and has been sharing a few risqué pictures. In response, Instagram sent her a warning requesting that she remove all the photos that may violate the site’s rule of posting photos “that aren’t yours” and “that show nudity or mature content.” The message also stated:

“We strongly suggest deleting any additional content on your account that may not fall in line with the above guidelines… It is important to note that continuing to violate them may result in a disabled account, or discontinued access to Instagram, without warning.”

Leave it to Madonna to do things to get people’s panties in a bunch.

Did Madonna’s 24-Year-Old Boy Toy Propose?

Reportedly, Madonna’s 24-year-old boyfriend, French dancer Brahim Zaibat, has proposed to the 53-year-old pop icon. According to VirginMedia:

“…although the twice-married star has previously said she would rather get ”hit by a train” than marry again, she is giving it serious thought.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: ‘Brahim asked Madonna to marry him at a Kabbalah Centre a few weeks ago, but Madonna hasn’t given him an answer yet. She doesn’t want to rush into anything. She is very happy with Brahim, although her friends are not sure she is ready for marriage again. That said, Madonna has a real fear of being on her own. It’s a major issue for her, and she loves having a man in her life who is young and makes her feel young.'”

Madonna is the cougar of all cougars…we want to be like her when we grow up.

A CherryOnTop Q&A: Eryn Woods

Who is Eryn Woods?

Eryn Woods is a 21-year-old Louisiana native out to redefine the image of a “pop princess.” Having recently had her music featured on MTV’s Jersey Shore, and VH1 reality shows Beverly Hills Fabulous and Mob Wives, Eryn has been touring the nation rallying up her “kupcake” army (fans) in effort to change the status quo. “Everything isn’t glitter and glam, even with the fame. It’s all about finding yourself and maturing and owning the blood, sweat and tears it takes to get there,” she’s said. Here is a CherryOnTop exclusive with Eryn Woods:

When did you first enter the music industry?

EW: I basically entered the music industry (officially) once I graduated from high school, but I’ve been doing music for my entire life. I don’t think I can think of a time in my life when I wasn’t involved in something musical.

What artists have influenced your image? It’s kind of a New Age Cyndi Lauper meets Lady Gaga.

EW: Most of my influences come from artists that i grew up listening to…Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, etc…but I feel like my image/style has evolved into what it is today by traveling and seeing so many different things in the world, and while growing up and learning what I truly love and who I am.

Who or what is your inspiration for your music?

EW: One of my biggest inspirations for the music style that I’m doing is the group from the 80s, Missing Persons. I feel like so much of the good in music came from that era, and I’m just trying to bring that back.

Who are some of your idols? Give me one from the past and one from the present.

EW: I would have to say Madonna (from the 80s) and Gwen Stefani. Both have had such successful music careers and have moved into fashion, cosmetics, etc. That’s what you call a career!!!

If you weren’t doing music, what would be your creative outlet? What would have been your career choice?

EW: Growing up, I never had a backup career, which my parents said wasn’t a good idea, but O always knew this was what I was born and meant to do. But one thing I’ve found that I’m pretty good at, by doing my own, is hair. So I think if I had to choose another career, I would be a hairstylist.

Do you write your own songs?

EW: I write my songs along with other well known writers, which helps me perfect that part of my craft. I believe two heads are always better than one, and if I can express to them how I’m feeling and what I want to speak about, and then they can write it in song form, it’s a perfect match!!! Life and people are my inspiration…just sit down somewhere and watch all the people around you…you will see and learn so much.

Who are some producers and/or artists you would like to work with?

EW: I would love to work with Pharrell [Williams]. I think he is an amazing producer and is fresh, which to me is what lacks in this industry. I would also absolutely love to get in the studio with Gwen Stefani. I think a song with her and I on it would be sick!!!!

What is one message that you would like to get across to your fans through your music?

EW: That no matter what color your skin is or what kind of hair style you have, you are someone special. You were born the way you are for a reason, and everyone has a purpose in life. Also, life is suppose to be happy! Everyone needs to smile!

Material Makeup

Lourdes Leon, the 14-year-old daughter of pop culture icon, Madonna, is certainly following in her mom’s footsteps! While the young diva-in-training has yet to announce a pop album (but give it time), she certainly has taken after her mom’s go-getter ways. Not content with just having a clothing line at Macy’s, Lourdes will be adding a beauty line to her Material Girl brand. The line is set to feature nail polishes, eye pallets, lip-gloss and lotions. Reportedly, the new beauty products are packaged in bottles of lace and bright floral, a nod to her mom’s iconic 80s fashion statements. The line will drop August 15 and range in price from $7-$15.
